Watercolour on paper. Hand painted copy of an illustration commissioned by William Roxburgh (1751-1815). In Flora Indica, Roxburgh notes that this species is a native of tops of the Rajmuhal hills, where Mr. W. Roxburgh first found it in great abundance wild amongst fragments of rich iron ore, and from thence sent the seeds to the Botanic garden at Calcutta
